Countersink F-12133 ?

KAI 29iS/U-11 Step 9 says to attach F-12133 to 1202D-L & -R with AN507C632R8 screws. However, there are no instructions to countersink the holes in F-12133. Based on the type of screws called out, it would seem that these holes should be countersunk.

Does anyone know if these holes should actually be countersunk?

Maybe the plans just assume the builder knows to countersink by this point...

Not necessary. You will be discarding the F-12133 after the canopy is completed. It’s just a temporary fixture. You can use pan-head screws if you’d like.
