Anyone familiar with the date codes stamped on coolant hoses from Rotax? These hoses were purchased from Rotax, and I'm not sure how to read the codes. I wouldn't want to install a hose from 2011 on my airplane, although I'm guessing I'm reading the code wrong.

Sure looks like 2011 to me. Why are you not installing the newer silicone hoses that do not have the 5 year replacement requirment?
Thanks for the picture of the clamps (below coolant cap). I was uncertain if the stock clamps would fit the silicone hose so have been putting off replacement.
I have rolls of hose (both sizes), the spring for the top #3 cylinder and constant torque (belleville spring) clamps for the larger diameter hose.
Might as well get at it !
Thanks for the suggestion. I have decided to go with silicone hoses. I have a few hundred dollars in rubber hoses I won't be using, but I think it's worth it not to have to be obligated to change all the hoses in another 5 years!

My thoughts are why not reduce the possibility of failure?
A coolant hose win a pinhole is the ding before "what the hell was that"?
Vaporized coolant is an fire risk.

I don't think that's the date, I have one that could be read as the year 51' so I wouldn't worry but going Silicon is the best choice.
Who supplies the Teflon hoses?
There are several of the race car parts suppliers that sell pre-molded silicone hoses you can cut down. Pegasus, and HPS come to mind.
