Complementary plans for RV-9

I recall an older discussion suggesting that one of the newer kits with more detailed callouts in the plans was a good complement for the older RV-9 plans. Something about more detailed visuals and more verbose descriptions.

Anyone recall this, or taken a good look at the other kits know if the -10 or -14 (assume not -12) are a good fit for this?

I'd suggest the -14 would be a better fit.

While I'm building an RV-3B, I've found that looking through the thumb drive plans of other airplanes the was helpful, showing me how the planes have evolved. The -14 plans are easier to follow than the -10 plane, only because they are organized by sections and at least on my RV-10 thumb drive, the plans are all of one whole area of the plane, all at once. Here's a screenshot of my file folder for the -10:

And for contrast, here's merely a portion of the RV-14 file folder:

Also, besides being a two-seater, the -14 has certain similarities to the -9.
