Cold Air Sump IO-540 engine control cables

For those using the IO-540 Cold Air Sump with the AFP FM-200, what cable lengths worked for your throttle and mixture (push-pull, not quadrant). What brands are recommended?

Thanks,
Carl

I measured my own length needed for my install and ordered from California push pull. I didn’t feel comfortable using someone else’s measurements due to routing differences.

I can’t remember for sure which ones I ordered. I pulled weed eater string the path that I planned to route my cables and used that for my measurement. I think I remember calling them and went off of their recommendation.

Carl,
I'm using the Showplanes throttle and mixture brackets for the Barrett Cold Air Sump and those brackets are set up to use the Aircraft Spruce A-920 cables due to limited clearance between the bracket and oil sump. I built a custom center console for my throttle quadrant so your numbers may come out different, but all that said I'm at 67 1/4" for the throttle and 68 5/8" for the mixture.

Cheers,
Todd

Thanks Todd. What fuel manager are you using?
