Instructions state I’m to align 816, Cockpit Rail so that it’s flush against the upper longeron.
As you can see in the pictures, it’s about a 1/16th from the edge at the spar junction point, and no ability to move or adjust at this point.
As it moves to the ends, both forward and back, it tapers nicely to align right on the edge.
Is this as expected?
Do I squeeze / clamp where I can to minimize the gap, or eliminate the gap, and don’t worry about the 1/16th at the 804 bulkhead junction?
