Yes The Viton ORings I run successfully in the RV10 calipers are one and three quarters inside diameter & two inch outside, so 1/8 thick. Available from Hydraulic Maintenance Shops. Much more user friendly as far as heat resistance.
I've checked 2 different sources, and the Viton O-rings are not listed for the same size as the 224. The original O-ring is listed as 2" ODx1¾ ID with a 1/8" thickness. I'm unable to find that size in Viton.
Thanks Jeff, those are the size I need! I bought them and will drive over there in a few minutes. I tried Grainger and a couple of other places with no joy.
Glad to help out. If you have the EAA's version of SolidWorks, you can download a ton of great CAD models of most of the things that McMaster carries on their website. Although they don't carry much of the AN hardware we typically use, you can usually modify their CAD models to match the specs for the hardware that you need. I find it's a great time saver!
