For those with RV-14 baggage side panels on order, I just wanted give an update on where we are at. We expected to have the first batch shipping out about now, but we have run into some delays on some of the parts. One of the processes was new for us, and there was more of a learning curve than we expected.
In addition to a new manufacturing process, we decided to try another new thing and make a video documenting the installation process (if successful, we hope to do this for all of our products). We hope this will make it easier for customers to understand how the package goes together in the plane. This is causing some delays as well because we have to sequence some of the things we do so that we can record video of the process.
I'm sorry for the delay. We are working to get these done as soon as possible. Sometimes things take a little longer than expected. We can't ship these items until all of the details are worked out, and everything is right. If you have any questions just call or email as usual.
