I'm not gonna get into the great auto conversion debate, but if a guy was going to do one, that looks about a neat as they come.

I will say that in my humble opinion, that Edelbrock tricorn air filter needs to go in the trash.

When those came out, I thought they looked really cool, so I put one on a small block in a '72 chevy pickup I was rebuilding. I didn't think about it until after the fact but that foam filter element isn't even remotely fireproof and a large portion of it is in the direct line of fire for a backfire up through the carb. I was screwing around with the timing one day and one little pop melted 1/2 the filter away. Turns out there's lots of anecdotal evidence about engine fires getting started because of them. You do you, but I would never use one again on anything.
