Changing a Slick 4371 impulse coupled mag to a Slick4370

My O 320 D 2 J RV9 has been flying since 2008 with a LS Plasma 2+ on the left side and a Slick 4371 impulse coupled mag on the RS. It's has couple OHs since then and due another i less than 100 more hours. That engine came with 2 impulse coupled mags originally in a 172 w160HP . I would now like to remove the impulse coupled mag 4371 and replace it with a 4370. Sounds easy enought! The RV9 cranks Only on the Plasma + and grounds the right side mag. I have had no problems cranking in past 1000 hours! Question for the knowledge base?. I'm aware the mag spacer would be removed and 5/16 x 18 by 1 1/2"replacement studs installed. How about the mag gear. Will that mag gear off of the 4371( longer shaft) fit and be serviceable on the 4370 non impulse mag? I know the impulse gears have two boss that engage with the front side of the impulse coupling. I would like to know that before I tear into it. Any comments appreciated.

Looks like I will need the NON impulse drive gear also. I believe that's a Superior P/N SL 68C19622. Anyone got an extra? I will also have the 4371 Impulse mag with 500 hrs , drive gear and spacer if anyone wants to trade.
