Canopy lock pin

Hey All

How far is the canopy lock pin supposed to stick into the canopy frame when in the locked position? Mine barely gets past the opening of the hole on the aluminum frame so all the retention is being done by the delrin blocks. Is this correct? Showing full pin travel from the back. There is no way to get the pin to go any further with the current setup. There is no adjustment past the full in position shown possible.

That’s similar to what I have. Canopy is off right now, but with the pins engaged and locked I have 5/8” protruding.

Mine is the same. The pin extends to the forward surface of the canopy frame.

Seems short. Your pins need to protrude far enough to engage the canopy lock micro switch.

Mine actually worked fine as designed. KIA page 61-05. Note that if you’re using a G3X/GEA 24, Vans has a custom display message for “Canopy Open” but only if on discrete #3, J244.
