Camping Lights for the RV

How do you all illuminate your RV during overnight camp-outs?

Looking for simple solution to keep the night walkers from tripping on a guy wire or worse banging into the plane. Was at a relatively dark fly in this week and realized I need a solution.

Small solar lights from Walmart. You can put them on the ground or get the string lights and put them on the airplane if there isn’t any wind. At OSH, we put them on our tent stakes and airplane. Charge them before you go or put them where they can be in the sunlight enroute.

If the guy wires you're talking about are tent lines and such, you can get reflective ropes from most camping supply stores.

Fairy lights” come to mind for easily winding around tie down lines. Tiny, light, and cheap. They also have options with AA batteries if you want them to last longer, and I’d imagine there are even rechargeable options out there.

Or clip something like these to your tie down rings and have a nice glow under and around the plane - it would solve your need and also look pretty cool! These have different output option so you can turn them down low when you go to sleep.

Try looking for a solar powered waterproof LED strip light.

I bought something like that to light up the house numbers at the street 100 feet away from the house.

The one I got on Amazon for $22. It was 33 feet long and I ended up cutting off all but 2 feet.

The solar panel charges the batteries which run the lights.
