Cabin Heat Cable – Legacy RV-12 w/ 912ULS

Can someone measure the length of the cabin heat control cable for a Legacy RV-12 w/ 912ULS? I want to install a new cable with friction lock to eliminate the “comb” forward of the firewall. Thanks in advance…

Hi Jim
The CT A-740 was 6 feet. That was probably a standard length and we had to cut it to fit.

Hey Jim, I would really like to make the same mod. Never liked that comb idea. Could you post you mod results with what cable you used and any tips on making the change? Thanks Tom

McFarlane part # MC6150-071BB096

It is an 8' cable we on need 6’….. 8' is less money also that's for a black knob, they are available in other colors
