C 653 trim strip question

What secures this strip at the very front? The plans do not show much. Is it the front rivet, the outside handle, or something else?

How did you secure the forward part of the slider canopy C-653 cover strip from the incredible airspeeds our ships generate

EDIT: OK...might of jumped the gun here...mine has a rivet hole forward of the latch handle...
