Building Again

Of all things, my wife asked me to build a 2nd RV10. I'm finishing my Zenith Cruzer and she understands the missions are different. Certainly different than our first 10. Since I sold the first one, I understand her passion. Lucky me. I plan to do more quick build options though, as time slips away.

I used Grove brakes before. As I order my fuselage kit, I have the option for Grove or Berringer. I haven't been following, but which is the favored brakes for the 10?

I swapped out my Grove brakes for Matco. I called Grove last year for a part (rotor) and was told by the person that answered after 5 calls to call back in 2-3 months as the company was sold and moving to Arkansas. One of the Walmart heirs bought Grove and Gamebird aircraft and moved them to Bentonville. Last I read, he was building Gamebird 2 as a small firefighting aircraft. I don’t know Grove’s parts availability now as I don’t need to.

. I don’t know Grove’s parts availability now as I don’t need to.

I needed some various Grove parts about 2 months ago and Gamebird had everything I needed in stock and shipped within a day. I did have to leave a voicemail but they got right back. FWIW

Thanks Dennis, although I would love to have another 10, it is not in the cards for us.

Not enough $$$ to buy a flying one, and I would be too old to insure by the time I could finish a new build--------
