Break edges in turtle deck skins?

There are three edges to the turtle deck skins:
1. The top curved edge that goes against the rear window.
2. The bottom edge that overlaps the side skin.
3. The aft edge that overlaps the tail tube.
Did anyone break one or more of these three edges? If not do you wish that you did? The plans do not call for it. I found one mention of breaking the top edge.

I just followed the plans. Looks fine.

I initally had some problems with the fit of my aft window. I had some bulging in between the srew holes. I broke the curved edges of the turttle deck skins and the fit is much better now. I also broke the top edge of the canopy skirts. No need to brake the other edges.
