BELAATED FIRST FLIGHT REPORT.

My 25 year RV=6 build in New Zealand finally culminated in its first flight last March. Its registration is ZK-LCM, being named after our 3 wonderful adolescent grandchildren, Lucy, Caitlyn, & Max. By a miracle it flew very well despite my contribution. At 83 I am now too old to hold a medical but have enjoyed being the Flight test Observer. The Flight Test period is almost completed. Hopefully it will give a new owner much pleasure in future years.

Congratulations, your work will be enjoyed for many years. I think the RV6 looks so good with the smaller tail, just more symmetrical to my eye. I’ve flown a lot of aircraft and it’s my favorite to fly, always puts me on a great mood!
