What are builders putting in place to stop the bagage door from swinging forward and damaging the hinge?
Thanks Ron

We used a Gas Strut like you use on the doors! Moubted on the top of the door not the bottom.

I thought I had a pic somewhere....but it seems not! :(

Thanks for the reply. Hadn't thought of a strut. You must have one with much less presure , I wouldn't think it would take much to hold it open and I would not like to have to push that hard to close the door. It's not that strong. Somethink to think about.
Thanks ron

Just a short cable

Attached at the top of the door and door frame. Allows about 110 degree of swing.

I have seen several variations of flexible wire or small diam. cable used as a travel limit. Some were dressed up with colored shrink wrap etc. I need to install something myself.

Even a piece of electrical wire (#18 or 16) with two terminals crimped on and two small screws will do it. Lasts for ages keeping my electric drill's chuck key.
