I took my baggage door to a local locksmith. Took him all of 10 minutes to find one that fit, cut some keys, and ask questions about the plane.

The drawer lock style that is used in the RV8 baggage door has a variety of barrel length. I bought mine from Home Depot. Bring your baggage door assembly to the store and find the model that has a short lock barrel length that fits inside the door.

This works on both the RV-8 forward baggage door and the RV-10 baggage door.

I like round keys for this application as they are harder to break off in the lock.

I went to Lowe's and bought this:
