Baffle ramp support bracket

It looks like my screw hole location on the engine is about a few inches forward of where vans says to attach this bracket. Is this normal? Should I just modify my bracket to pick up the forward hole shown in the picture?

Can't see the pics on my tablet for some reason but I have a C4B5 engine and I had to fab 2 brackets to make my baffles fit. One was the left ramp and the other was the right rear. The stock brackets simply didn't align with the engine's available screw/bolt holes.

Okay, yeah I forgot to mention mine is a C4B5 as well. I'm pretty sure you're talking about the same issue as mine.
