Maybe a long shot: Has anyone worked with an avionics shop, or any aircraft maintenance providers in Guatemala? Any lead at all would be helpful.
I recently acquired a RV-7A that was damaged beyond repair in Guatemala, with plans to remove the Dynon Skyview panel from it and install in my main RV-7A (that is in desperate need of an upgrade).
I could fly down there and pull parts, but I’d prefer to hire someone locally - if anyone has someone they’d recommend. Ideally, I’d fly my -7A to a shop there (after a little negotiation with my insurer… currently only covered as far south as Mexico) and they could handle the rest.
