Now while I love all the marvelous and unique items that the homebuilt community have created, a meets the need cheap solution is nice to.
I always joke about the aerospace department at Walmart.
Here are a few of my latest adaptations:
Cowl plugs and canopy cover.
Cowl plugs $2.00 ea, microfiber canopy cover $3.50 (AKA fitted bed sheet) to keep the dust off during airport construction next to my hanger .

The way I look at it, it does the job and puts more money in my pocket towards the AVGAS.
