Has anyone tried this servomount as described in the RV-6 ? Old Garmin G3X with Garmin GX repackaged TruTrak that can no longer be repaired. Replacement will require new wiring not only in new shielded wire due To CANBUS but additional. 2 wires
Fuselage mount looks attractive for maintenance either Dynon or Garmin

I have installed the roll servo as depicted in the drawing in two RV6’s, and they worked out fine, and continue to in my current RV6. I’m sorry I couldn’t find a pic of my final installation, but you can see from the drawing what it should be. If you want to put a boot on the aileron control rod for the right wing to prevent cold air intrusion in the winter, you’ll need to install that boot on the outside of the fuselage with the boot pointed outboard. I haven’t found this to be a problem, but I live in southern Ohio.
