Anyone have a dyna vibe willing to loan?

I’m fairly certain my prop is moderately out of balance and the airframe is picking it up. I had a GoPro on my chest last time I flew and I could see the EFIS vibrating at what seems like the same frequency as the attitude indicator. (ADHARS probably seeing same frequency in the tail.) I could also feel it if I rested my feet on the pedals.

It really doesn’t like 5150-5250 rpm. This is where I’ll probably want to operate a lot so I need to balance the prop. Good idea to do regardless of my observed EFIS issue.

Does anyone have a dyna vibe they’d be willing to loan to me? I’d happily pay for shipping and whatever fee you think is appropriate.

There's one floating around my airport. The owner allows anyone to borrow it. Tomorrow I will ask if he's ok with shipping it out. If so I will be the person shipping it to you

You may be able to rent one here

Dan eventually got ahold of mine that has been floating around the country for probably 2 years now. He started at 0.37 IPS.. down to 0.01.

It'll be back in circulation again starting in January via PM. You just pay shipping to the next person. This is thanks to the first handful of builders who contributed $100 .. it's paid off and circulates freely at-cost now and comes with the necessary brackets for the Rotax 912 and a gram scale.

I have one. I'm at I73 just to your north. will PM my number

The kit that Rob makes available has all the brackets, screws, etc. to bolt right on to your 912. It made balancing the prop on my RV-12 a breeze. Thanks Rob!

Yup, thanks a lot to Rob for sharing the kit and the “accumulation” of brackets that come with it. Much easier than borrowing a random kit from nearby EAA chapter and trying to figure out how to attach things.

It’s a testament to what VAF participants can do to help each other.
