RV10 owners/builders,
I have searched a lot but can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for. Martin has a great wt/bal spreadsheet but it doesn't quite fit the bill either.
So here's the question: Has anyone built/is flying an RV10 with a lightweight LifePo4 battery (EarthX, Shorei, etc) mounted on the firewall with one of the lightweight props to help balance out the wt/bal due to the forward battery mount?
If not, does anyone have an RV10 wt/bal calculator that has the battery location/prop options configurable in order to plug in some numbers and see what cg these options give us? I am still fully expecting to have to carry around rear ballast but the shorter wire runs and improved load carrying capacity are something to think about if the new wt/bal numbers are viable.
