Andair Extension Fascia Mounting

Hi all;
I am trying to mount the Andair Extension (EXK-7) Fascia to my Aerosport center console within my RV-10. When I attempt to center-up the fascia on my console, the mounting holes do not appear to align with any cardinal direction. Unfortunately, the extension kit did not include any instructions or more importantly, a drawing showing the proper location of the mounting holes. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Dan.

On my extension, I got a rotary adapter that allowed me to locate the fascia in whatever position I wanted. Otherwise the left tank would be at 9:00 and the right tank at noon. With the adapter you can make the left and right symmetric around noon or point in whatever direction you want. Then you drill 3 holes in it and bolt it together on the desired position. Just another $50 to throw at Andair, but it does work. Other folks have clocked the valve itself to the desired orientation.

I am sure the solution by DMcGinnis would work and direction the L-R-Off might vary by model of fuel valve. For my 14 I got use to seeing the Andair logo at the bottom and the L-R-Off as follows:

For the 10 when mounted with the recommended extensions it came out like this, which bothered me not seeing the same orientaition that I had been looking at for 500+ hours in the 14.

After doing some research I found if using the blue spool section not the red one is changes the orientation 22.5 degrees so the Andair logo is at the bottom:

This is what how the blue vs red alters the clocking:

Shown below is a photo of the Andair fuel valve extension fascia I received for my FS20-7 fuel valve.
My problem is there are 4 mounting holes, which in my line of thought, should be lined up with the four cardinal clock directions of 3, 6, 9, & 12. While the mounting holes are close to these clock directions, they just that, close...Andair Fuel Valve Extension Fascia.jpgI'm beginning to wonder if the mounting holes were drilled incorrectly?

Yes, looking at your valve fascia plate you need it lined up at 3,6,9 and 12. The mounting holes you reference that don't match are the ones in the F-1048C-1 Fuel Valve Bracket? If so pretty sure that bracket is not meant to align with the Andair valve and a different bracket will need to be fapped to interface F-1048C-1 bracket.

My -10 was the same and I believe it's done this way to ensure the fascia can't be installed in the wrong orientation. The top hole is at a true 12 and the RH hole is at a true 3. The LH hole is 5 degrees lower, so at 95 deg to the fwd direction. The bottom hole is 5 deg to the left so 175 deg from fwd.

That face plate looks identical to mine. Colors aside.
I made a new 063 plate to mount the valve into the tunnel in the orientation that matched the faceplate. No adapters.

Just wanted to document that if you need to change the clocking 22.5 degrees use the blue spool piece not the red, (Better pic of spool piece below)
