Airworthy!

Successfully completed my airworthiness inspection today! It was done by a local DAR, but a representative from the local FAA FSDO showed up as well, since apparently the DAR was due to be observed (and the FAA guy lives 5 min from the airport). Of course, he’s working without a paycheck. So two sets of eyes looked it over. All went well - first flight whenever the winds ease up, hopefully toward the end of this week.

Good job . I know the feeling still. I built and still fly the very first Customer Built RV 12 to receive an airworthy certificate and very first maiden flight ( Sept 2009). 1450 hours now and still loving it. The DAR had never done one. That was interesting. The fun begins now. Good job and have fun.
