I'm fairly sure this would apply to all wildfire smoke, regardless of which country it originates from.....

I would think industrial smog or whipped up desert dust would be bigger silica filtration concerns. Volcanic dust is a given for sure. I think the video was more of a media hype than vender filtration concerns
