He makes that point that oil filters might also be a candidate for an early change,

Meanwhile, I'm watching AirVenture from home for the first time in 30+ years. "Better to quit flying a year too soon than a day too late."

I would think industrial smog or whipped up desert dust would be bigger silica filtration concerns. Volcanic dust is a given for sure. I think the video was more of a media hype than vender filtration concerns
