After Over 12 Years Of Flying, My Bird Has Paint!

T&P in Salinas. It ended up being $17.8k. They made all my crappy fiberglass work look professional. I’m very happy.
That is a great price, especially working the glass... The going rate can be as high as $25K.... nice.

Do you know how much weight it added? I guess 20-30 lbs?
I also wonder if it cruises a few knots faster? May be, why not that smooth finish must help a little?

I am a registered cheapskate and will fly naked for awhile, and the plane will be unpainted too. Ha ha. When I paint it I am going to do it my self. I am guessing about half price, but a lot of work.
