It’s time to replace my TT autopilot, now owned by Honeywell the support is non existent. The lead time on a new x cruize is 160+ days.
I am considering the Garmin 507 and G5, I want a backup EFIS so two birds one stone. My navigator is an 750xi, my question is had anyone installed a Garmin AP with the ADV 5600’s? I should still get a gps course on my screen but not sure what CDI or heading bug info I will get on the 5600? I can use the G5 in HSI mode but it would be nice to get the same info on the 5600 I get now. Anyone see any other issues with this setup? I know I could go with the Dynon servos and see no change but I’m not ready to put more money in the Dynon basket. I might eventually go full G3x system.
