ADSB IN from an Echo

Think I know the answer to this but, will an Echo communicate with a Garmin 660 to display traffic and wx onto the screen via hard wire or wifi ? I am sure that the 660 has NMEA output to communicate with my Trio AP via hard wire RS232 same as a 396. Interested in experience you may have had with either.

Nope

660;can only process ADSB Wi-Fi data from a Garmin ADSB source. Funny thing is the Echo transmits its data using the Garmin protocol they invented maybe 20 years ago. But Garmin cut that capability out to make sure your data source now has to be from them.

Garmin...that's why I avoid their products.
