ADJUSTING FLAP POSITIONING SYSTEM.

Now that I have sorted me flap travel asymmetry, I need to adjust my "Show Planes" FPS to shorten the flap down travel slightly, and to stop the actuator from running on when flaps are fully up. The motor stops OK at full flap down.

Can anybody who has done either of these adjustments, or who understands the switching logic, plse advise in which direction I should adjust the Switch bracket and/or the Positioning Rod.

If you motor is running with flap full up, you need to adjust the position rod (the rod with the notches on it). Get it in the right position, and make sure you have it rotated so the notches line up with the micro switches. Once done, I suspect you’ll find the down problem goes away as well.
