Hello VAF members.
Happy New Year.
Probably a stupid question but can anyone give me some advice. I'm working on the horizontal stabilser and about to rivet the rear spar doubler to the rear spar.
The question is:- Does it matter which side the manufactured head of the rivet is on? The plans don't indicate for the typical rivets. It does specify for a couple of rivets but it's the typical ones I'm talking about. My guess is it doesn't matter.
If it doesn't matter, is there a preferred option. Say for inspections or building competitions/displays?
Thanks
Ian
