A proseal question (.5 v 2.0)

I’ve bought proseal from a couple sources and now note there are two flavors. I think one is noted as being 0.5 and the other as 2.0. Maybe I’m wrong on this.

What is the difference? It seems the .5 dried much faster and the 2.0 took many days.
Does it matter in construction of a plane?

The .5 or 1/2 refers to a 30 min working time. The 2 is 2 hours.

Yep, at ~70F the .5 has a half hour of working time and the 2.0 has two hours of working time. Every 10 degrees above 70 halves the working time, and every 10F below 70 doubles the working time.

That's the difference.

I was working with some of the .5 last year and pulled it directly from my hangar 'fridge into the work area which was Hot, Hot, Hot. The .5 began curing to the point of being unusable after about 3 minutes.

I built my tanks during spring and used B4. Nice long working time even when warm but the tanks took what seemed like a month or more to fully cure.

I actually like working with proseal, as opposed to [many expletives deleted] fiberglass...
