It's never good to calculate what this hobby actually costs, but if you work at it - it might not seem as bad as you know it is. So if someone (wife?) asks what your plane costs, tell them less than a dime a mile!!! - just know you are not being completely truthful.........

- Find cheap boat gas - 3.14/gallon
- Take advantage of CC discount 4% on Gas
- Get road tax money back from the state 0.235 $/Gallon (via monthly rebate)
- Fly LOP throttled back - but still over 150MPH!
- Do the math!
