7 to 7A

I’m almost finished with my RV-7 and now having second thoughts about having another taildragger as my final plane. I’m not getting any younger and my reflexes aren’t what they were 10 years ago. So I’m wondering if there’s anyone that’s building a -7A who would want to trade landing gear and an engine mount? At this point it’s a simple swap because my engine isn’t mounted and the wings are still off.

I have an extra set set of new main gear legs for the 7A, a nosewheel, and a nosewheel fork. I do not have the mount or nose gear leg itself. Would be interested in selling them for 2/3 new cost from Vans. Or I would trade them plus some cash for all of your landing gear and mount stuff.

I’m hoping someone has everything with the new style nose gear so I don’t have to source parts. If not I’ll just finish it as a tailwheel.

Vans sold me an Elastomeric kit. It had everything. Later I sold the original mount and gear leg.
