Has anyone tried to make a 3d printed gear leg upper faring? I am thinking of maybe a 2 piece unit.

I have done something similar…. I have used CAD to design fairing shapes, and then the inverse female mold of those shapes. I then 3d printed the mold, and used the mold to produce the fairings out of either fiberglass or carbon fiber layups. This method works very well.
