I have one C-01426 canopy latch pin that's too tight, I've checked it both left and right, and it's way too hard to get to move (light rubber mallet does move it). My second pin is fine, in both sides, so it's not the mounts, it's a single pin.
You remember what size? I have done some sanding on the pin, it’s better, but not as smooth as I’d like. Might need to get another pin, I don’t have a lathe to machine the pin.

Off the top of my head? 3/8"? Total guess. I'd measure the pin.
The key is to slowly twist the reamer by hand back and forth until it eventually goes all the way through. It took a little effort but not too much. I was actually amazed how well it worked. I did the same thing on the pins for the canopy hinges.
Ream the passage way out with a 3/8 reamer and if needed, chuck the pins up in your drill and polish them down a little using your scotchbrite wheel. Make sure and use oil on the reamer and go slow. I had to polish the pins down a couple of times to get it all right. Seems everyone has this issue
