First flight of my RV6 was on this day in 1996 after 4.5 years of building. I thought I would never finish it. 30 years goes by way too quick. Took her out for a ride around Sedona this morning.

Hi Dave
Wife & I were out in Sedona (1st time) last week. Flew commercial to PHX, drove up, did touristing for our anniversary. I went up to the airport several times for the views (sunrise, sunset, etc) & to try to find an instructor to go up for an hour (or just some touch & go's). No joy, but now I'm dreaming up another bucket list trip in the RV12. What a beautiful place !

You haven't aged a bit! Neither has that airplane! Guess that means BOTH of you are being well taken care of! And taking care of each other! Congratulations! Happy Anniversary!!🤩

Sedona: one of my favorite places on the planet! And one of my early cross-country flights with my then PIB (Princes in Back).

most interesting that you are wearing the same color shirt, yet graduated to a polo from a tee:) congrats on 30 years of enjoyment.

Love it. And there’s not a more picturess place! The first trip I made in my completed 8 in 2010 was Navaho country, Page, Grand Canyon, and Sedona.

Congratulations!

I remember when you came out to help me in 2020. I was AOG after a brake failure. THANK YOU!!!

Mixed opinion about Sedona as a destination, but the airport is spectacular and I'm a big fan of breakfast at the Mesa Grill.

In 30 years, what changes/upgrades have you made to your RV-6?
