-15 Axles?

Here is a pic I plagiarized from another thread. Is this how most think the -15 axles will attach? My Bearhawk had 1.5” axles integral on the gear legs, so I was limited to wheel choices. Ideally I would get the Matco 8” wheels that have an 1.25” diameter so I can run the Desser 27.5 tires. Sadly Matco does not make a 1.5” wheel in 8” diameter.

Can any of you repeat offenders comment on this even tho the -15 is a totally new design?

I like the jack points. It's essentially the same idea I used on my -6 and -3. I made a 1/2" part that ties into the two lower bolts of the caliper attach plate and collar. This simply provides a 7/16 threaded hole to attach a jack point to. The attach point is a 3" bolt with a 7/16 x 5/8 x 3" hardened steel bushing that sticks inboard enough to get a jack or 2x4 underneath it. The only drawback is when the tire is flat it is pretty close to the ground.
