Well, yes, at 3,500'. Ground winds were appreciably lower.

I saw 142 knots GS today, but didn't think to get a screen shot.

While it wasn't me flying, I do have a screen shot the a friend took, while flying my RV-12, with a GS of 201 MPH.

on 2/4/17, skunked clocked me on Flightaware at 156 knots just south of Pax river. I was enjoying the ride. It was a slow ride home!j
