I really like the Vishay / Sfernice P16 pots. They are very lightweight and are working well for the since 35 hours since install. There were several options available for these switches, but those were either not in stock or much more expensive, so I went with the most basic version. I was worried that they might be too low profile, making it hard to get a grip on the rotating bit, but that hasn’t been an issue. The only potential downside is that they are installed from the front and wired from the back, making them slightly more work to remove/re-install. These are the exact ones I used:

Vishay / Sfernice P16 & PA16F Compact Panel Potentiometers
"Vishay / Sfernice P16 and PA16F Compact Panel Potentiometers feature a unique integrated design incorporating the potentiometer and knob in one assembly, with no accessories required. The mounting hardware and terminals are situated on the panel's backside, reducing the clearance needed to a minimum. P16 potentiometers have a high 2500Vrms dielectric strength and knobs available in blue, white, yellow, red, and black, while the PA16F series features a 5000VAC dielectric strength and a metallic knob. Vishay/Sfernice P16 Compact Panel Potentiometers are fully sealed with an IP67 ingress rating and have a lifespan of up to 50K cycles."
I think if I were to do it again, I might get the version with the detent and configure as above in this thread for AUTO.
