Page 10-23 calls for AN3-5A bolts to secure the elevator bellcrank 1037A to the
1035 mount. This bolts will run out of thread before flattening the parts together.
Are this the right length bolts? and if so, I missed something somewhere...

Those are the correct bolts. Assuming you have one washer in-place, try placing a second washer under the head and see if that helps any. Also make sure you didn't inadvertantly use AN960-10L's in place of -10's.
