I took a look at his RV-6 Checklist on his website. Under “Aircraft V-Speeds” he lists Vno as 180 KTS, and Vne at 220 KTS.Not Portland, but not too far away is James Young in Chehalis, WA. He is an A&P and CFI. He did the prebuy on my RV-4 and gave me transition training in his RV-6. I was very happy with both the prebuy and training and it couldn't have been more convenient.
You will see his website is seaplane centric, but on this page it does mention training in his RV-6 --- https://www.seaplanescenics.com/flight-training --- The website doesn't mention prebuys, but it's something he offers.
