SDS - Fuel Flow Verification Procedure

A buddy is nearing the AWC inspection of his RV-10 with SDS EM-6 EFI and is not quite sure how to accomplish the testing needed to complete the attached form.

Any feedback from those of you with SDS EM-6 is appreciated.

TIA.

Disconnect the fuel hose from the distribution block, and direct the fuel into a gallon jug.

Turn on the pump, wait til the jug is full, turn off pump. Have someone with a stop watch call the start time, and turn off the stop watch when the gallon jug is full.

Now simple math to divide one hour by the time to flow a gallon or GPH.

Do one pump at a time to confirm equal flow for each pump. Also repeat for each tank.

I disconnected the return line at the wing root (downstream of the regulator) and ran that to a fuel jug of marked quantity. Got the expected 40 gal/hr flow at 40 psi.

I figured measuring the flow at full pressure (measured at the engine) was more important. I think if you disconnect before the regulator you'll see an unrealistically high fuel flow since there's no back pressure.
