Rudder Skin holes

Anyone else get a call about the holes on the Rudder Skin? They're shipping a new skin out to me. Just curious what people are seeing.

I got a voicemail but have not had a chance to call back.
Kelsey said there were 16 holes missing from the rudder skin; they offered to send a replacement or a template for drilling.
I expect it to arrive this week, I was going to have a look and see what's involved.

Looking at my skins, the rudder has eight holes on each side of the rudder skin at the very bottom, presumably for the fiberglass caps (which were not provided in the kit). If so, my skins have the holes and I won’t need to drill them (which would be super simple). Oddly, I don’t see the holes on the KAIs at all. I presume I will ignore them until the tips come some day.

Eight additional holes on each side along the bottom. Old skin shown for reference.

@Atanyspeed @543TB would the template allow for drilling in a completed rudder, or does it use the stiffener holes?

I am ready to rivet the stiffeners but don’t have the template yet.

It attaches to two holes on the lower rib. The photos from the Van’s instruction shows the location.
