Rotax 921/915 retrofit kit #481377 contains two pumps and the hose connection kit. Last check it was $950 at Lockwood.
That kit has the 88961 pumps and was designed as the replacement kit for a previous SB. What is available is current inventory and my information says its not available from Rotax any longer.

That’s what I used to fish the wire harness back to the fuel pumps. The larger diameter tubing will be an added challenge as I seem to recall the 3/8” lines fit pretty tightly in the plastic spacers so not sure how the 1/2” tubes will fit.
Hi Bob, a review of the new fuel system plans shows that the 6' long fuel line that runs from the bypass (at the front) to the fuel filters (Now F-12127V) is still 3/8" but with different bends on the filter end. So, it should still fit within the groove of the plastic support brackets.

I have the tail attached, so to feed the long straight 6' line from the tail will probably require bending to get it over the bulkhead in the tailcone, then straightened again to pass through the many snap bushings.

The new 1/2" lines are the ones from the tank to the shut-off ( the Odell clamp is deleted) and ones connecting pump and filter parts. I am still waiting on the upgrade kit, so my assessment may change.

I thought the shut-off valve has been deleted with the new pumps. That doesn't make any sense to me but I just checked the latest section 27iS and I don't see a shut-off valve there. How are you supposed to remove the pumps without a shut-off valve?

The new part is called a Fuel Maintenance Valve Drain. The tubing is labeled going to the Fuel Shut-Off. Looks like Van’s picked up the description from the old plans. There is a 1/4 turn handle on the new part reachable thru the enlarged lower access panel. The fuel shutoff cable on the center console has been deleted. If you zoom in on the photo you can see the handle.

Would not be too difficult to work out a bracket that would allow one to keep the shutoff cable active. I like the idea of being able to close that valve from the pilots seat in an emergency.

I agree with you Brian, with a little bit of hunting I found Peterson Fluid Systems fuel valve 09-0930 that is a flange mount 1/2" / AN-8 valve that fits in the orginal valve bracket, 90 degree open close with control arm already drilled. Replacing after certification would not be difficult and the ability to shut off fuel flow remains after the SL kit is installed. Question is what to do with cable and knob for inspection? I think I can abandon the cable in place then resurrect it. Meanwhile waiting on parts...

Here is the valve https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Peterson-Fluid-Systems-09-0920-Fuel-Shut-Off-AN8-to-AN8,1661.html
