Wingtip finishing

Has anyone filled and faired the “cheese grater” wingtips on their -12? What did you (or your paint shop) use? I’m thinking of using SuperFill or epoxy/microballoons. To me, the unfinished wingtips leave an unfinished look - I’d even go so far as to say they’re butt-ugly with an otherwise nice paint job.

What did you use for the fill?

I didn't like the "cheese grater" look either, so I filled it with epoxy & microballoons, about the consistency of peanut butter.

PU sealant as used in cars.

I taped off the “graters” yesterday and filled with epoxy/microballoons. Headed back today to start sanding/shaping. Plane is headed to the paint shop next week!
