Builder Number 90, my brother Mike, received his wing kit crates today (well 3 out of 4 anyway). The spars are on backorder but should be sent soon. Meanwhile a lot of work to be done to inventory all the pieces.
I’m letting my brother use my office/man-cave at 52F to store and inventory the kit which he plans to build in his home garage/shop. I’m excited to see a new build underway.
See attached for some photos for those still waiting delivery:
The delivery truck is impressive with its own built-in overhead crane to assist with handling. The driver came from delivery of another RV-15 kit to Jay Pratt at Hicks Field.
The crates are easy to move around on some moving dollies.
The taxiway in between the hangars was too restrictive for the truck, so a short push on the dollies and the crates were in my hangar office/work space.
Now for the fun task of inventory, but one happy-to-start new builder.
I'll be watching closely.
Chris
