Nose Wheel Pant Screws

I need to order some replacement screws for the nose wheel pant as some of mine are wearing out. Anyone know where I can get some and what the exact screw is that I need? Also has anyone found and alternative that the heads don't strip as easy on?

Answer to your first question is that since you own the airplane, you can go to Vans Web Store, create an account, put the airplane in it, and get access to all the drawings. the drawing affords tell you the screwed that you need.

yeah.. i've switched all my screws to #6 and #8 size torx.

#6 1/2" long T15-drive (AN526-632-R8)
#6 3/8" long T15-drive (AN526-632-R6)

#8 1/2" long T15-drive (AN526-832-R8)
#8 3/8" long T20-drive (AN526-832-R6)

I've never stripped one yet. I haven't found a #8 3/8" with a T15 drive yet.

You're my hero. I already sourced some black T15 for the panel after stripping those ridiculously tiny hex socket heads of old. Glad to have a source for the ~150 inspection panel screws. It's unthinkable that there are still no AN-grade Torx fasteners.
