

Ron,I'm doing some Vx/Vy/Vg flight testing in my airplane. It was always on the to-do list for me -- and the previous owner who installed the Sensenich 2G0M8-NS/C72RG-5 two-blade composite propeller on the aircraft. Prior to this prop, it had a two blade metal FP Sensenich.
Interestingly, when I bought this aircraft, I took a semi-educated guess at the numbers based on what I've read here on VAF, and so far I'm finding it's not too far afield from those.
I also re-upped my night landing currency at a couple of local airports last night, and am starting to prefer 3 point landings again. For a long time I was a 3 point guy in this airplane. Then I really started preferring wheel landings. Now I'm back on the other side again. Perhaps I'm just equally bad at both?

Had to go for a short ride to get the bugs out of the RV and me.
It was as close to a perfect flight, if such a thing exists.
A Cherokee pilot, trying to locate me after takeoff, asked on the air "Where is the aerobatic plane ?"
That was a first for me...
